Great work by our Traffic Homicide Unit led to Ashley Ricks pleading guilty to four counts of first degree manslaughter.
She was sentenced to four 30 year sentences running concurrently.
Ricks was driving the wrong way on I-40 near El Reno on October 17, 2020 and crashed head on into another vehicle, killing a grandmother, mother and two children.
Ricks was driving under the influence at the time of the crash. We hope the outcome of the court case brings a measure of comfort to the victims’ families.
