Arrest made in attempt kidnapping investigation: Baton Rouge Police
Baton Rouge Police Major Assaults Detectives arrested DINESTY SELMON, 21, on charges of Attempted Kidnapping and 7 counts of Unauthorized Entry of a Business.
Following an ongoing investigation since March 1st, 2024, it was learned that SELMON had made multiple unauthorized visits to the Our Lady of the Lake Hospital, casing multiple patients’ rooms.
On March 12, 2024, Baton Rouge Police Detectives were able to gather enough evidence to obtain an arrest warrant. On March 26, 2024, she was arrested by Bossier City Police Department and booked as a fugitive.

On today, BRPD Detectives arrived at Bossier City PD and extradited SELMON back to Baton Rouge where she was then booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
This is still an ongoing investigation.
