Teenagers were among seven people injured in two shootings on Chicago’s West Side early Sunday, police said.
Police said one shooting happened in the Garfield Park neighborhood’s 3800-block of West Maypole Avenue around 1:34 a.m.
At least six people were standing outside when they were hit by gunfire, police said.
Two 17-year-old boys were transported to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition. One was shot in the leg, and the other was shot in the neck.
An 18-year-old woman, shot in the buttocks and arm, was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition.
An 18-year-old man, shot in the leg, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.
A 19-year-old man, shot in the foot, was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition.
A 20-year-old man, shot in the body multiple times, was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.
Police said a 17-year-old girl was shot in the same block while standing outside minutes earlier, around 1:25 a.m.
