AMBER Alert for an abducted 5-year-old boy: Eastern Iowa

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office has issued an AMBER Alert for 5-year-old Abel Lee Keil, who was allegedly abducted from the tiny eastern Iowa town of Baldwin, Iowa.

Abel is described as being 3 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing 40 pounds with blonde hair, brown eyes and wearing a blue T-shirt with a smiley face on it, blue shorts with animals on them and “Batman sandals.”

Authorities say Abel’s been abducted by Jeremy John Keil, 46, and Amy Lynn Burick, 35. Keil is described as being 6 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing 185 pounds with brown hair and hazel-colored eyes. Burick is described as being 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Authorities believe the group is driving a silver Honda CRV that has sustained damage to its driverside headlight and may be headed toward Clinton or Davenport.
