A teen was fatally shot in Joliet’s southwest suburbs, police say
A teen was fatally shot Tuesday night in Joliet’s southwest suburbs.
According to police, the 16-year-old was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds in the 400 block of South Joliet Street shortly before 8 p.m.
The Will County Coroner’s Office pronounced him dead at the scene. His identity has yet to be revealed.
The shooting is being investigated by Joliet police.
There was no additional information available at the time.
