Chicago – A man was shot by Chicago police on the Near West Side during a block club party nearby. Police say the man was in a vehicle with a gun.
When they tried to stop the car, at least one officer fired his weapon.
Chicago fire officials confirmed a man was taken from the scene to Stroger Hospital, but further details weren’t immediately available.
