On Monday evening, a man was shot and killed in Chicago’s West Side neighborhood of North Lawndale.
According to CPD, the 35-year-old was sitting in a parked car at 6:17 p.m. when gunfire erupted in the 1600 block of South Trumbull Avenue. He was shot several times throughout his body.
Paramedics transported the victim to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Nobody is in custody. Area Four detectives are investigating the shooting.
