A 25 year old Danville man who suffered a gunshot wound to his torso.
Danville, IL – Danville Police responded to the area of the 600 block of Chandler St for a report of shots fired in the area.
Upon arrival officers began checking the scene and located a victim laying in the 600 block of Grant St.
The victim is a 25 year old Danville man who suffered a gunshot wound to his torso.
The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Preliminary investigation indicates the shooting occurred in the 600 block of Chandler St and the victim may have run to the area of Grant St where he was located by the officers.
No other injuries were reported during this incident and no suspect information is currently available.
