A man accused of raping a woman in a church parking lot while holding a machete to her neck and threatening to cut off her head, has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison.
Marquiloh Williams pleaded guilty to assault with a dangerous weapon and the sexual assault and kidnapping charges were dismissed.
The affidavit says Tulsa Police were called after a half naked woman knocked on someone’s door, crying hysterically and begging for help.
It says she had been riding around with Williams while he was selling drugs and they pulled into a church parking lot and his car died and he accused her of cutting the wires to disable it.
It says he tried to force her into the trunk but she refused so he threw her phone and purse in there and retrieved a machete and forced her to an area next to the church.
It says he threatened to cuff off her head and send it to her mother if she did not comply and claimed to be with a cartel.
It says after the assault, he dropped the machete and she grabbed it and ran to a home for help.
Officers arrested Williams nearby and found his disabled car and her phone in the trunk and her purse in the vehicle and recovered the machete and the victim’s shoes.
It says when they interviewed Williams, he said the sex was consensual and he might’ve gotten a little rough and the sword was in case they spotted snakes.
When officers asked Williams about the threat to cut off the victim’s head, he said, “That’s some cartel shit.”
