Fountain of Youth in Pill Form: Scientists Discover How to Roll Back Time?
Move aside Juan Ponce de Leon – University of Leicester scientists from Spain, Nigeria and Saudi Arabia have discovered the New World of anti-ageing in pill form.
Modelling their research on senolytic drugs, they have isolated antibodies that attack senescent (ageing) cells and destroy them without affecting normal cells in tests.
Although only at the initial testing phase, there is hope the advanced research will help ward off the degenerative effects of aging and related diseases.
