NSA Director: Expect RANSOMWARE Attacks “Every Single Day” within Five Years
(Report)Paul Nakasone has predicted the rate of ransomware attacks will not slow down and efforts to counter the threats must remain constant.
(The Hill)The National Security Agency director was speaking the Cyber Defense Summit on Tuesday, admitting he expects ransomware attacks “every single day” in the US within 5 years.
Nakasone, who also serves as commander of the US Cyber Command, stated that the NSA is “persistently engaged” in combating hackers.
