A 41-year-old woman was critically injured in a shooting Saturday night in Englewood.
According to police, the victim was a passenger in a car in the 1000 block of West 70th Street when a group of male offenders on the street fired multiple shots at their vehicle.
The shooting happened shortly before 10:30 p.m.
The victim was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition after being shot in the face and chest.
There have been no arrests. Area One detectives are looking into it.
