Two people were injured in a shooting Saturday at Great Lakes Crossing Outlets in Auburn Hills, Michigan, prompting a large law enforcement response and a temporary closure of the popular shopping mall.
According to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting left two victims with injuries.
Authorities confirmed that one suspect has been taken into custody, and investigators say there is no ongoing threat to the public. One of the victims, a woman, reportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
