A 14-year-old boy was injured in a drive-by shooting Saturday night in Chicago’s Vittum Park neighborhood on the West Side.
Around 11:30 p.m., police responded to a report of a person shot and discovered a 14-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the leg in the 4900 block of South Leamington Avenue.
Officers were told by the victim that he was shot by a man in a black SUV.
The victim was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital and is said to be in good condition.
There have been no arrests reported. Detectives from Area One are looking into the matter.
