A large passenger brawl broke out in the customs area of PortMiami on the morning of June 22, 2026, shortly after the Carnival Conquest cruise ship docked.
The altercation took place inside the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) screening area at the cruise terminal.
The fight reportedly involved a large group of passengers, including at least one child.
Law enforcement authorities confirmed that no serious injuries were reported, no one required hospital transportation, and no arrests were made at the scene.
Note: While local law enforcement handles immediate terminal safety, Carnival Cruise Line maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding passenger violence. Past brawls on Carnival vessels and terminals have routinely resulted in the cruise line issuing lifetime bans to all passengers actively participating in the altercations.
