Chauvin to APPEAL CONVICTION for George Floyd murder
Derek Chauvin has filed papers with the Minnesota appellate court to appeal his conviction for the murder of George Floyd, for which he was jailed in June for 22 and a half years.
In the papers filed, Chauvin has highlighted 14 points of contention with the prosecution and trial, including denying him the right to request “clearly biased” jurors be removed.
He claims to have no lawyers as the Minneapolis Peace and Police Officers Association cut his legal funding after the conviction.
