Zelensky has moved on from tanks and is now campaigning for F-16 fighter jets as the next item on his NATO wish list.
The US, the UK and Germany have all said NO—but that means next to nothing, given their recent policy u-turn.
France said it would consider it—but only if Ukraine promises not to use the jets to target Russian territory.
(Ironic, given that Ukraine still attacks civilians in Donbass after their republics voted to join Russia).
But while the Biden Admin isn’t sending F-16s just yet, it is reportedly planning to announce a $2 BILLION arms package for Kiev, and for the first time, they could include Boeing-made rockets that have a range of 150km—nearly twice that of the HIMARS rockets they’ve been supplying.
It would be yet another escalation driven by NATO as it continues to march its way right up to Russia’s border, while insisting it’s a defensive alliance, and this is NOT a proxy war.
