A young woman was critically injured in a shooting in the Back of the Yards on Sunday morning, according to Chicago police.
At 1:40 a.m., a 20-year-old woman was getting into a vehicle in the 5000 block of South Justine Street when she was shot.
According to police, the shots were fired by an unknown male.
Paramedics transported the victim to the University of Chicago Medical Center. She was listed in critical condition after being shot in the neck.
There have been no arrests reported. Area One detectives are looking into it.
