RawNews1st – Samantha Neuwien was beat and stabbed multiple times inside her Wilmington, Delaware, home. She would succumb to her injuries 16 days later; her murder remains unsolved.
Around 8:30 a.m., on July 12, 2013, Katherine Neuwien arrived at her family-owned appliance shop and noticed water leaking from the ceiling. Her daughter, Samantha Neuwien, 34, lived upstairs.

She had noticed the bathroom was “torn up” and found her daughter unconscious and naked on the floor near her bedroom.
Samantha had been beaten and stabbed but was still alive. Her mother called 911 and medics rushed Samantha to the hospital. She was in a coma for 16 days before she died on July 28, 2013.
Wilmington Police requested the FBI’s help in solving the case in the weeks following, but Samantha Neuwien’s murder remains unsolved.
