A judge ruled today, Kimberly Graham has 24 hours to turn herself in, after the OK Court of Criminal Appeals says, she has to go back to prison to serve her 107 year sentence.
March, 2009: A Tulsa County jury convicted Graham of hitting and killing 5 motorcyclists.
She got 20 years for each count of 1st degree manslaughter and 7 years for leaving the scene of a fatality crash, ordered to be served consecutively (back to back.)
In April of 2021, after serving 12 years in prison, Graham’s convictions and sentences were dismissed based on the 2020 U.S. Supreme Court ruling on tribal jurisdiction because Graham is Native American.
That same month, the Muscogee Attorney General charged Graham with 5 counts of homicide and leaving the scene.
She was released on $52,000 bond, pending her request to dismiss the case, arguing, the statute of limitations had expired.
