Ashley Seals was arrested for a warrant issued in November of 2020, after she was accused of shooting her mother in the head and then shooting herself in the head.. both women lived.
The affidavit for Ashley Seals says on October 17th, 2020, around 5 am, she woke up her mother and asked her if she wanted to smoke and her mother said yes and got out of bed.
Her mother told police, Seals shot the mother in the head with a .22 pistol, then pointed the gun at her own forehead and pulled the trigger.
Seals was 25 years old at the time.
Seals is charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
When the warrant was issued, the bond was set at $250,000.
It has now been reduced to $25,000.
