A woman who’s baby son was killed by her boyfriend, has now been charged with child neglect in Washington County.

The affidavit for Abigale Winget said she knew her boyfriend didn’t like kids and he had even told DHS he didn’t like kids and they cause him to lose control, snap and wig out.

It says she knew her boyfriend had threatened to kill kids in the neighborhood and had she walked in on him moments after he hit her baby in the mouth, but she still routinely left her child in his care.

The baby was born in 2019 and spent time in the NICU, because of seizures and a stroke, so required medication and therapy.

The boyfriend, Terry Hindman, is in federal prison for the next 17 years after throwing the 23 month old across the room with excessive force on September 29th, 2021 and not getting help for the baby.

Then, on October 2nd, 2021, Hindman saw the boy struggling to breathe but still didn’t get medical help and the baby died from blunt force trauma.
