A woman was fatally shot in the Bucktown neighborhood of Chicago’s Northwest Side on Monday morning.
The 30-year-old was in a car with someone she knew in the 1700 block of North Milwaukee Avenue around 8:12 a.m., according to police.
When the two began arguing, the suspect pulled out a gun and shot her in the head, according to police.
According to officials, the woman was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital and pronounced dead. The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not yet identified her.
As Area Four detectives conduct their investigation, no one is in custody.
