This woman was arrested for a wrong-way crash on I-84 that killed two people and her dog, according to state police.
Authorities said 29-year-old Michelle Miller of Wolcott was arrested and charged with two counts of manslaughter second-degree with a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs, two counts of misconduct with a motor vehicle, reckless endangerment first-degree, cruelty to animals, injury or risk of injury to a minor, reckless driving, speeding, driving wrong way on divided highways, and failure to maintain proper lane.
Miller turned herself in Wednesday on an arrest warrant.
State police said the crash happened on Interstate 84 in West Hartford on September 6, 2023.
Miller was driving on I-84 west when she veered left, crossed the median, and entered the left lane of I-84 east. Police said she crashed into a Subaru Impreza.
State police said both occupants of the Subaru were killed. They were identified as 26-year-old Natalia Dudzinski and a 2-year-old passenger.
According to the arrest warrant, Miller had alcohol and marijuana in her system at the time of the crash.
Miller’s dog was in the car with her and died in the crash.
