According to the Montogomery County District Attorney (MCDA), the call was made by a family member who had not seen or heard from the elderly couple in more than a week.
After entering the home, officers found the couple’s adult daughter inside, along with a deceased person, tightly wrapped in a white bed sheet.
The woman, who is the daughter of the murdered couple, Verity Beck, 49, was taken into custody.
Police say a search of the home uncovered the bodies of a 73-year-old male and a 72-year-old female.
A chainsaw was located near one of the bodies, and both individuals were in various stages of dismemberment, according to authorities.
Several firearms were recovered from the home as well. The bodies were transported to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office, where it was determined that both individuals were victims of a gunshot wound to the head, and the cause of death was ruled a homicide.
Verity Beck, 43, who also resided in the home, was charged with first-degree and third-degree murder.
