A woman released last year from prison for child abuse, has been arrested again, this time, for child neglect.

The arrest report for Deliena Rosson says she abandoned her 8 year old daughter and wheelchair bound, disabled mother, at a motel for 16 hours, so Rosson could go do drugs.

It says Rosson first left the little girl with friends in a separate motel room, saying Rosson would be back after taking a shower.
That was May 23rd around 9 pm.

It says by midnight, the little girl was wandering the parking lot, looking for her mother and as some men were talking to the girl, motel staff intervened and took the girl back to her room, where her grandmother was, who isn’t able to care for herself or the child.
When the staff realized Rosson was not back the next day, they called Broken Arrow Police.

BAPD says the girl told them this happens frequently.
It says the girl told officers, she hadn’t been to school since she was placed back with her mother, after being removed before by DHS.

It says Rosson saw police and started texting people she knew, also staying at the motel, asking them what was happening and officers found her hiding nearby and said, she appeared high.

Records show she has these previous convictions in Creek County:

December 2012: charged with manufacturing drugs and child endangerment for mfg drugs in the presence of a minor. She pled guilty to the first count and the second count was dropped and she got a 7 year suspended sentence.

May 2013: drug possession; 8 years suspended

October 2018: child neglect; 5 years suspended, but broke the
rules so in November of 2020, given 2.5 years in prison.
