RawNews1st – A Green Country woman pleads guilty in federal court to robbery and the victim, was an undercover police officer.
The affidavit for Kelsie Higgins says she posted an ad for sex and when a man showed up to the hotel room, she and Demetrius Cureington, robbed that man.
What they didn’t know, was the man was not there for sex but he was actually an undercover officer there to make an arrest.
It says Higgins greeted the undercover at the motel, took his $450 (for sex and some cocaine) and let him inside and when he went to the restroom to make sure there was no one else present, he came out and Cureington had come inside the room with a bb gun that looked like an AR.
It says Cureington told the victim (undercover) to leave and he did.
When backup arrived, officers arrested Higgins and Cureington.
Cureington pleaded guilty in state court in September and was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
Higgins’ case was handled in federal court because she’s Osage.
