A woman is in jail, charged in Tulsa County with arson, discharging a weapon into a house (daycare), having a gun as a felon and having an incendiary device (molotov cocktail).
Court documents for Alexis Blackmon say in July, she used molotov cocktails to set a house on fire, which caused an explosion so forceful, the windows were blown out and shattered.
It says she then fired several shots into a home next-door that happened to be a daycare where 10 people were present, mostly children.
It says she was convicted of second degree murder in KS in 2008 and sentenced to 38 months in prison.
She said the victim was beating her, she grabbed a knife and he ran toward her, into the knife and he died.
It says she has a history of mental health issues and after not showing up to court, a warrant was issued and she was picked up on that warrant.
These are charges, not convictions.
