A woman is accused of taking financial advantage of her elderly, ill grandparents.
The affidavit for Camille Cash says she’s accused of mis-using $18,000 dollars of their money, without their permission.
It says Adult Protective Services called TCSO and that Cash said she was using FMLA time from work, to take care of her grandparents, but, then, told them she couldn’t afford the time off, so she was going to be paid for being a caretaker, but, after around $5,000, the grandfather said it was too much money and Cash agreed to pay it back.
But, it says she took out a credit card in their name and used their debit card to make more than 100 purchases for things like food, loan payments, Netflix and Amazon, even while her grandmother was in the hospital.
It says the grandfather co-signed for a vehicle but, told Cash she would have to pay for it, but, Cash used the couple’s money to make the loan payments.
It says she never registered the vehicle, but, took a plate from another car and put it on her vehicle.
It says when questioned, Cash told investigators she thought the issue was over, when she told her grandparents she would pay them back.
