A woman has been charged with 2 counts of assault with a dangerous weapon after she’s accused of chasing after a man with a pole and hitting him several times, then, jumping into a car and running over the man, even backing up until the car rested on top of him, causing serious injuries.
The probable cause affidavit for Cynthia Colbert, says it happened August 31, 2023.
It says she didn’t get help for the victim and she left the scene and the assaults were captured on video.
Records show she has the following convictions in Tulsa County:
2001: assault with a dangerous weapon; 5 years suspended sentence
1991: obtaining money by false pretense; 1 year suspended sentence
1990: larceny from retailer; 18 months in prison
The new charges are not convictions.
