Woman has been arrested and charged with first-degree rape and child endangerment alleged sexual abuse of a 6-year-old child
A 32-year-old Ohio woman has been arrested and charged with first-degree rape and child endangerment in connection with the alleged sexual abuse of a 6-year-old child.
Mara Silva of Liberty Center is accused of engaging in sexual conduct with the child over two weeks in October 2025, according to court records.
Authorities have not publicly clarified the exact relationship between Silva and the victim.

Silva was indicted on December 17, 2025, and taken into custody on December 20, when she was booked into the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio. Her bail has been set at $100,000, and a judge has granted a protection order in the event she is released. Silva has not yet entered a plea and currently has no attorney listed in court documents.
