A woman currently on 2 deferred sentences in 2 different cases, gets arrested again, this time, for first degree arson.
Tulsa Police say they were called to a domestic disturbance and saw smoke coming from the home and Marlisha Leathers coming out of a front window.
The arrest report for Leathers says she admitted pouring gas on her step-father’s clothing in a NE bedroom and setting it on fire.
First degree arson means the building was occupied at the time the fire was set.
Records show the following convictions in Tulsa County:
March 2024: she was put on an 18 deferred sentence for cruelty to animals in what the paperwork says involved bone fractures and grievous injuries.
April of 2022: she was put on a 2 year deferred sentence for assault on a police officer and attempted escape.
March 2024: That one was revoked because the cruelty case happened.
