Woman Crashed Into Pennsylvania House After Husband Shot Through Window Then Killed Himself.
Monroeville and Pitcairn police officers responded to a call for gunfire just after 11 a.m. in the 400 block of Ashbury Court.
According to police, reports came in about a woman having been shot through her car window before the car crashed into a garage, WPXI reported.
Once there, first responders found the vehicle crashed into a garage along an intersecting street. The woman inside the car had gunshot wounds to her trunk and arm. She was taken to a hospital and was pronounced dead, according to reports.
The victim was later identified by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office as 45-year-old India Christian, TribLive reported.
“It’s a very quiet place, it’s quiet on steroids, it’s a great place to live,” resident Joseph Markosek said to WPXI. “I was out this morning. I got home and fire trucks, ambulances and media people all over the place, and apparently, we had some sort of shooting.”
