A woman, covered in blood, walked into the Pittsburg County Sheriff’s Office and confessed to murder.
33 year old Crystal Haworth is now going to federal prison for 20 years after pleading guilty to second degree murder.
Records show she told investigators she planned to marry the victim, 57-year-old Leonard Brokeshoulder, then kill him and take all his property, after claiming he was abusive.
The victim had numerous stab wounds all over his torso, face and a deep cut to his neck that nearly decapitated him.
Investigators say Haworth said repeatedly, she tried to cut off the victim’s head.
This is now a conviction.
