A Brown County woman is facing charges of involuntary manslaughter and endangering children in connection with the death of an 11-week-old infant, according to Brown County Sheriff Gordon Ellis.
Sheriff Ellis says Kayla Sullivan, 27, was arrested at her home on Thursday.
Ellis says his office received a call around 7:12 a.m. on Sept. 24, 2022, from someone at the 4500 block of State Route 286 in Mount Orab saying an infant was not breathing.
According to the man who called 911, the infant was his son.
Medics took the infant to Mount Orab Mercy Hospital where the 11-week-old was later pronounced dead, the sheriff said.
It is unclear how the infant died.
