Woman Arrested For Hitting And Dragging Ex-Boyfriend In Allegedly Stolen Car
On July 24, the Coral Springs Police Department received a call from the medical staff at Broward Health North about an injured man who claimed he had been intentionally struck by a vehicle in front of his residence, located near Northwest 39th Court in Coral Springs.
The man told medical staff the driver of the vehicle that allegedly struck him was his ex-girlfriend and mother of his child, Carolina Sosa Martins, 26, of Deerfield Beach.
According to the police report, the victim told officers he was inside his bedroom when he heard a loud noise and discovered that a ceramic tile had been thrown through his window.
He explained to officers that when he went outside to investigate the incident, he encountered Martins attempting to leave in a rented black Toyota Corolla, which the victim claimed she had stolen a couple of days prior from him while he was at his aunt’s residence in Deerfield Beach.
