Rogers County deputies arrest a woman accused of misdemeanor DUI and felony child endangerment.
The arrest report for Destiny Scott says on Saturday at 6 PM, a deputy on patrol in Inola, saw Scott driving fast and passing in a no passing zone, forcing another driver to go into the ditch, to avoid being hit.
It says after the deputy turned on his lights and sirens, Scott kept driving until she ran into a ditch and hit a telephone pole.
It says she told the deputy she saw his lights but she didn’t want to stop and wanted to go home.
It says her 4 year old son was in the backseat of the vehicle and Scott smelled strongly of alcohol.
It says she told the deputy she’d had a couple glasses of wine around 5 PM at a friend’s house.
It says she performed poorly on the field sobriety tests and agreed to a breathalyzer but the machine wasn’t working, so she agreed to a blood test and while at the hospital, became belligerent.
The boy was picked up by a relative and Scott was booked into jail.
