RawNews1st – Police arrest a woman accused of assaulting her estranged husband with a 5 pound sledgehammer.
The affidavit for Alyssia Aary-Lewis says the assault happened on Christmas Eve, 2022, but he didn’t report it until March.
It says he told police he and Aary-Lewis were going through a divorce partly because of her meth use and her stealing money from his business account.
It says he told police on Christmas Eve, she demanded he write her a check for $3,500 and he refused and she became enraged and pushed and hit him and threatened to hit him in the head with a sledgehammer, but, he still refused.
It says she used the sledgehammer to hit him in the foot, and he gave her the check and she left.
It says he took photos of his injuries but didn’t report it at the time.
She’s been charged with domestic assault with a dangerous weapon and extortion.
