Updates snowfall potential.
A lot of this will fall late tonight, overnight. Still have some warm air to overcome…especially in the valleys.
Winter storm warnings for NE AL, Blue Ridge Mountains and Higher elevations along the TN/NC border.
Looking more and more likely that heavy snow will fall overnight with 1-3”+ along the plateau.
1-2” in local mountains.
Up to 1”+ in valley locations, mainly elevated objects
And potential for 2-4” in higher elevations east of Hwy 411.
Travel on secondary roads could be tricky in the AM. Interstates and highways okay, but watching.
