William Lowe, 78, arrested for human remains found floating in three suitcases in the Intracoastal Waterway

William Lowe, 78, was arrested Wednesday and charged with first-degree murder and abuse of a dead body.

According to the arrest report, the woman’s remains were identified as belonging to 80-year-old Aydil Barbosa Fontes.

Fontes had a gunshot wound in her head.

Police released photos of the luggage the body was found in as well as a reconstructed image of what the victim may have looked like.
