Popularity Tube: White House DIDN’T pick kids to star alongside VP Harris in YouTube special
YouTube reportedly selected the children who starred in the heavily mocked NASA special and reached out to various sources, including casting websites to find them. (The Hill WH correspondent)
Reports published after the video came out revealed at least one of the five children with Kamala Harris had auditioned for the show.
Two of the other kids are reportedly working actors. The WH has now distanced itself from the selection process.
During the one-part special, VP Harris and the head of the Space Council visited the Naval Observatory with the children to undertake a series of educational tasks and also assemble a telescope which kids can create at home.
It’s unclear if they could see the southern border.
