RawNews1st – Deputies began investigating a report of credit card fraud. The family of a deceased County resident, who passed on August 21, 2022, received credit card statements belonging to the deceased which showed purchases after his death.
Throughout the investigation, Deputies received “still shot” photographs from Walmart surveillance showing the suspect, Wendy Renee Wilson who was the decedent’s girlfriend, using his credit card.
A search warrant was applied for and executed on Ms. Wilson’s residence. During the search, several wigs and items of clothing were found matching those from the photographs and from other fraudulent purchases.

Ms. Wilson is believed to have made nearly $2,000.00 of fraudulent purchases at six different locations.
