BILL GATES says we are not ready for the NEXT PANDEMIC!
Bill Gates has warned “attention to pandemic preparedness is lower than expected.”
The billionaire Microsoft co-founder stating vaccine inequalities between low and high-income countries is a “profound moral outrage,” in a report released Monday.
Less than 1% of vaccine doses have been administered in low-income countries, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation report said, compared to 80% in high and upper-middle-income nations.
The Foundation challenged nations to invest long-term in healthcare systems and said the tools to end the pandemic are similar to fighting other infectious diseases like malaria and polio – with “widespread testing” and “lifesaving immunisation.”
