(Watch) Royal Caribbean water slide panel breaks, injuring cruise ship passenger
Passengers panic as a slide panel shatters on the world’s largest cruise ship
Passengers on Royal Caribbean’s “Icon of the Seas,” the world’s largest cruise ship, were panicked when a panel on the “Frightening Bolt” waterslide shattered mid-ride on Thursday, August 7th.
Water poured from the break in the acrylic glass panel, creating a chaotic scene and prompting screams from onlookers and calls to “stop the slide!”
An adult guest riding the slide at the time of the incident was injured and is receiving medical care.
While it doesn’t appear the rider fell out of the slide, they sustained lacerations to their legs and hands.
