A man found murdered Friday morning at the end of 35th Avenue North has been positively identified as 22-year-old James William Warner of Shelbyville.
His body was discovered by a Metro Water crew.
Warner had been shot to death.
Detectives are now seeking 25-year-old Samuel Earl Rich for questioning in connection with Warner’s murder.
If that name sounds familiar it is because Rich was already on the TBI’s most wanted list after he was identified as a suspect in the shooting of a woman in Bedford County.
In that case, Rich is wanted on charges of attempted murder and theft.
He is 6-feet tall and weighs 165 pounds.
Rich is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Reward money is being offered for information leading to his arrest.
