Volusia bodycam video shows arrest of man who stole car ‘because he was looking for Wi-Fi’
According to the sheriff’s office, 20-year-old Michael Barr told Daytona Beach Shores police that his friends left him in Miami, so he hitchhiked to Kissimmee, stole a vehicle and traveled to Volusia County.
Barr reportedly said he did this because he was “looking for Wi-Fi.”
“He’s now in jail with no connection,” deputies wrote on Twitter.
At the end of the bodycam video showing his arrest, Barr said, “Y’all got the helicopter on me? This lit as [expletive].”
