Video Captures Argument Before Woman Is Shot Dead at Florida Gas Station

A confrontation between two women at a gas station ended in gunfire after an argument escalated into a physical fight.

On March 2, 2026, deputies with the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a shooting at a Sunoco gas station near Southwest 268th Street and Southwest 127th Avenue in southwest Miami-Dade County, Florida. When deputies arrived, they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was identified as 42-year-old Latrosha Williams.

Authorities said Williams was transported for medical treatment but later died from her injuries.

Investigators said surveillance video captured the moments leading up to the shooting. According to deputies, Williams was seen arguing with a woman who had just pulled into the gas station parking lot.

The two women reportedly argued for about 30 seconds before the other woman walked inside the convenience store. During that time, Williams removed her hoodie while a witness attempted to calm the situation.

When the woman returned from the store, the argument continued and quickly escalated into a physical altercation.

Authorities said the woman then pulled out a firearm and, during the confrontation, fired several shots. Williams was struck and collapsed in the parking lot.

The suspect then got back into her vehicle and fled the scene.

Witnesses told investigators that the dispute began after the driver allegedly pulled near Williams while she was walking toward the store, nearly hitting her with the vehicle. The confrontation that followed quickly became heated and turned physical.

Investigators said witnesses attempted to intervene before the shooting occurred.

Authorities confirmed the suspect remains at large as the investigation continues.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office.
