Vaccine mandate protesters arrested after sit-in at Times Square restaurant in NYC
A group of anti-vax protesters launched a challenge against New York City’s COVID-19 indoor-dining mandate at a Times Square-based restaurant, resulting in the arrest of four on Friday.
The protesters refused to comply with current pandemic safety regulations and staged a sit-in protest at the venue, which resulted in the calling of police officers by the restaurant’s staff.
Following a confrontation and the failure to produce valid COVID-19 vaccination proof, a number of protesters were taken into custody as others proceeded to leave the venue.
