Updated surveillance footage of suspect in a double homicide and robbery at 7-Eleven in Kiln Creek in Newport News.
Footage includes two different angles of suspect, video in slow motion, and screen captures.

On Wednesday, June 15, 2022, approximately 11:46 p.m., Newport News police responded to a suspicious situation at a business in the 1400 block of Kiln Creek Parkway.
Two adult males were found inside the business with gunshot wounds.
They were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The victims were later identified as 52-year-old Preyas Patel, of Yorktown, and 35-year-old Logan Edward Thomas, of Newport News. The investigation remains ongoing.

7-Eleven Corporation is offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
We’re asking that if anyone can identify this person or who knows anything about the incident please call Det. Rogers at 757–928–4219.
This reward is not connected with the Virginia Peninsula Crime Stoppers (Crime Line) reward, and tipsters cannot remain anonymous to receive the 7-Eleven reward.
