UNT’s Health Science Center in FortWorth on #Lockdown due to ‘potential for violence’
The school’s Health Science Center, in the 3500 block of Camp Bowie Boulevard, near Montgomery Street, announced the lockdown at about 12:40 p.m.
There is a potential for violence affecting the H S C campus near the I R E B building that requires immediate lockdown. Seek shelter immediately inside a secure location.
Fort Worth Police confirmed to NBC 5 that officers responded to the area for a suspicious person after receiving several calls for a person on campus with a weapon. Police in SWAT gear were seen searching the campus room by room.
